I just realized how many calories are in some of the Bariatric Advantage vitamins!
Take the calcium chews, for example. They're delicious (the lemon ones are my fave), but geeze. They're 15 calories per 250mg chew. My doctor wants me to take 1500mg of calcium per day. That's 90 calories for just the calcium, not counting the multivitamin chewable (10 calories per 2 tablet serving) or the iron chewable (another 10 calories per 1 tablet serving). When you're on a severely restricted caloric intake, that's a significant portion of calories!
This makes me want to try the patches even more. I can get a calcium one and a multivitamin one, and at least they don't have calories!

They don't make the lemon in the 500g version, though, and that's my favorite. The other flavors are okay to pretty good, but the lemon reminds me of Starburst candies.

Unfortunately, I have to watch calories pretty strictly. I'm a revision patient, so my body is already used to a restricted amount of calories, and I regain very quickly if I don't keep an eye on my calorie intake.

THen try the patches. I used the patches after surgery because the chewables kept me feeling queezy. My 3 mo blood test was fine. Ask your dr.
Patchmd.com have the ASMBS seal. I am now using the Bar Ad chewables because they are cheaper for me. But the patches worked fine for me and they make life easier. Put them on in the morning. Take off 12 hrs later and toss. There is usually a discount coupon code floating around.
