Am I going to lose my shape?

I finally started the process and am working on my clearances, but I'm having second thoughts, again. I may be fat but I still have a great shape, and a lot of older people keep telling me that I will lose my shape. Is this true?

You will lose, but it will be fat and any kind of illnesses that goes along with being overweight.  (High cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc.).  I have lost almost 100 lbs. and I did not lose much from my chest area and have discoverd my hips again. Now I can actually see my hourglass figure.  (Before, it was hidden by my weight).  Lose the weight for your health and happiness.  Don't worry so much about the changes, since all changes will be for the better!  Good luck to you!

Maybe once you lose enough weight, but I haven't yet. I just compared my before pics to pics from yesterday, and my shape is the same but smaller. It's kind off strange how similar it is actually. Everything seems to have shrunk in equal proportion, so my problem areas still annoy me just as much!

Most of us retain our shape - hourglass, apple, pear etc.   I just look like a slimmer version of myself.

I actually I found my figure again.  Or I should say it was accentuated.  I have always had a smaller waist compared to my hips.  But as I lost weight it became more noticeable and people would make compliments.

It is true I have some loose skin but enough to hide my figure.  Either way I like the way I look and feel now!!!

As Kim said, most of us keep our same shape. I had an hourglass figure even when I was heavy and still do.

I have bigger hips, a small waist hidden by back fat and I am totally going to lose all my boobs (if they disappear they weren't yours to keep anyway). I cant wait!!! I'm also going to loose the back pain, the knee pain, the medication and the double chin! Yay!!

I had a pear shape before surgery, I have a (smaller) pear shape now.  If anything, I have more of an hourglass shape than I did before, but I still have to shop for curvy fit pants an skirts.

I lost my butt and boobs, but have a waist and collarbones now! A happy trade.
