Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 100% pasteurized egg whites
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin, not pie filling
  • 1/4 cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese, low fat (or nf/lf greek yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid vanilla stevia
  • optional:  Dairy Free Whipped Cream, cinnamon

Directions

Mix all ingredients in your blender. Add optional toppings if desired. Enjoy immediately!

Looks and sounds good. As far as the cottage cheese goes in the recipe can the fat free cottage cheese be used too instead of the low fat one let? Same think for the almond milk and use skim milk (fat free) and low fat milk?

the fat free version will have more carbs... 

for my body - fat is better than carbs... carbs - sugars - stimulate my insulin. Fat- does not.
