I said "get a few days logged so that I can share an accurate picture". The intent in my sentence was the words "so I can share"

This thread has made me sad. I have been logging, but I don't think I will share it here because I feel like everything I have said has been interpreted different than I meant.

The 1100 calories is recent. My logs I submitted to my dietician were calculated at an average of 950.

I have felt upset by some of the replies here. I dont know yall. But the words keep rolling in my head.

I have sent an email to my program director to tell her that yall freaked out about my calories to get her input. She has also had a sleeve. And that I am needed a better system of support because I dont think the tone I see as "harsh", but yall dont, is not the right fit for me.

I'm sorry you feel attacked, but that truly is a lot of calories for a bariatric patient, unless you're also burning a heck of a lot in exercise.  Take it from me, I've had both the lab-band (twice, actually) and RNY, and if I ate 1100 calories a day, I wouldn't lose a darned pound, and I would quite likely gain a few.  Even 950 is a lot for me, to be honest.

You seem to have resigned yourself to being a failure.  Instead of doing that, why don't you give everyone's suggestions a try?  Obviously, the nutritionist's advice isn't working, so why not try the advice of people who are losing weight or have been successful?

Every metabolism isn't the same, and your nutritionist is a fool if she's telling you that your surgery was a failure when she's having you eat significantly more than the plans of the majority of other nutritionists.  The simple fact is, if you aren't losing weight, you're either eating too many calories or not burning enough (either way, it's the same result).  Therefore, either reduce calories or burn more.

Yup. It really is as simple as that. No magic, no mystery. Now, eating less is really, really hard. That's why we're all in this boat, right? But that really is the one and only solution -- eat less than you burn.

Who was harsh? Everyone seemed full of encouragement.  Would you rather we just nodded and murmurred 'there, there, poor dear'? That wouldn't help.

You mention compliance, but compliance to a poor plan isn't going to do your much good.  Take the advice of those here if what your medical team has suggested isn't working for you.  You might be surprised.  Or you might not, and can go back to what you're doing.

Did I read your post correctly - you weight 156.9 now and are concerned because you are not loosing the last ~15 pounds?

156 may be your body's new set point.

Somethings to consider:

Are you doing weight training - you  may need to replace lost muscle mass to get your body burning more calories each day.  I used a program called Super Slow Weight Training and it is intense.

Also check out this video by Dr. Matt Weiner - not my doctor but I find him very helpful.

I was having trouble losing, followed the weight loss clinics advice. I was so depressed. then someone recommended I do Atkins inductions for a bit to change things up and I have started losing again. It will always be difficult for some of us, despite the surgery, despite following our protocols. But not impossible. You seems disciplined, don't give up, you can do this!
