how to get potassium in the low carb way

Hi! I have been low carbing it for a week. I am finding my legs cramping a little during exercise. What do the low carbers do to get their electrolytes, especially potassium back up?

Many thanks,

Kirsten

I posted a note in the VSG thread about leg cramps just this morning.  My Nutritionist suggested drinking coconu****er to replenish potassium.  Magnesium can help leg cramps as well, but I'm first going to try the coconu****er.

Google for K rich foods, and pick what you like that works better for Bariatric requirements. Veggies and fruits can help. Bariatric vitamins daily too. Propel has electrolyte water w/o flavor and stuff.

Powerade Zero has a bunch of electrolytes, and helps with hydration. Leg cramps are often the result of not drinking enough, in addition to electrolytes.

They sell them on Amazon, though I think I've also seen them in-store at Sports Authority.

I run into this when cycling sometimes. I use "nuun" brand electrolyte tabs, they dissolve in your water bottle. The flavor isn't super strong and they're a little bit fizzy, so I keep a tube in my bike bag. I like the strawberry lemonade and and tri-berry flavors, I buy them at the bike shop and I've seen them at places like Sports Authority as well.
