UK surgery

Just wondering whether anyone on the forum is like me 6 months of weight management complete and awaiting final assessment before surgery? Or has already experienced this?

I'm a longtime post-op, but I vaguely remember that once I had all my testing done, it didn't take long to get the surgery date.  A lot depends upon your surgeon's schedule and the hospital surgery openings.

It only took my surgeon about 3 minutes to look at my tests results and then ask me "Are we going to do this?".  

After that was the interminable wait for the actual surgery date, but I was somewhat distracted by finals and graduation ceremonies.  I passed the time with the Before and After Photos, and reading the blog entries obsessively.

It won't  be long.  It will just FEEL like forever.

Hang in there, go for walks, clean out your cupboards....
