just curious how much unflavored protein to add to things. I tried it with soup but I think I added too much! It frothed like crazy and made me be sick to my stomach (first time post sleeve).

thanks

One scoop is all you need. How much did you add?

I put half a scoop in my 4 oz of soup. Maybe I shouldn't have blended it or added it after I warmed the soup up?

Most proteins are one scoop per 8 ounces, so the ratio was probably fine. But if it was whey protein, it can't be heated above 140 degrees Fahrenheit or it will froth, clump, and curdle.

Yeah, I did that once... It looked like my science project from high school.

I flunked that class.

I tried a protein shake after about 3 days and got sick also. It was too rich. I stuck to the Isopure kool-aid type drink for a few weeks. It isn't the greatest tasting but it was palatable for me.

Add protein to cold and then bring the temperature up, do not add to hot or you will clump.

I prefer flavored protein (I think it tastes way better) but that limits the savory additions.
