Hi there.  I had my gastric sleeve on Aug 13th, 2015.  Was doing okay on my diet stages but the last week or so I always seem to have a low grade nausea feeling espcially after I eat. Has anyone else had this and what did you do that helped?   I have not thrown up ever just feel blah.  Thanks for any help .

My husband and a coworker both had this happen after their VSGs. For both of them, it was a GERD issue that responded well to daily meds.

are you getting 64+ oz of liquid a day? Dehydration also causes nausea.

I am shy of that amount. I can try increasing my fluid intake   thanks :)

Dehydration was the first to come to mind for me, too.  Fatigue and nausea are two of the first symptoms.

64 oz is a daily goal from the moment they remove the IV from your arm.  It's not something to work up to like protein and food.

Drink, drink and drink some more!  Tea, flavoured water, whatever it takes.  Maybe you need a PPI for a bit in addition but definitely up the fluids.  Hope you feel better soon.

I am ten years out and lots of foods still do this to me, unsweetened tea with lots of lemon is my cure.  I always had a sensitive stomach rny just made it more so.
