auto-immune hepatitis and wls

Can anyone tell me if they were approved for wls by a surgeon while having auto-immune hepatitis as well? I have my first appointment in two weeks, but, I would rather not waste anyone's time if no surgeons will work with this co-morbidity.

Can you call the surgeon's office and ask? That's something that a nurse may be able to tell you over the phone before you come in.
