Cold...
It seems to fade for most people, but many complain about the cold for a long time. There aren't any statistics on what percentage get this side effect. It never hit me, at all. Even after losing a ton of weight, I often wear shorts in winter.

Before WLS, even on a cold day = hot and sweaty. No post op and in the norm rage for BMI... I'm freezing my butt off. I wear 2 shirts 2 jackets and thermal socks to keep warm at work. My work area feels like 65 degrees. At home sweat pants and sweat shirts for sleeping plus a few blankets. AC was set for 78... better at 81. 2.5 yrs out; remission for type 2 diabetes.

Wow ! I thought I was the only one sleeping next to a space heater lol ! Though recently I have been warm intermittently so maybe is my internal heating coming back :) .
I've always been cold prone though .. but yeah even in ninety six degree days I need no air conditioning and sleep under two comforters at nite . My boyfriend used to love my unconciouus heat-seeking because I'd hold pet and cuddle him all nite every nite --- but it still didn't keep him from lying and cheating grrrMEN!
Been there, done that. 200 pounds ago, I did the same things. Now anything below 74° is cold for me. I am probably the only person who felt comfortable in the 90° weather in North Carolina this summer.
