Cold...
I had this realization that I'm cold all the time lately! I've always been one of those people that "ran hot". Like, I'm always hot. I always have the AC cranked up and a fan on and I'm still warm. Of course, I do live in AZ so there's that. But all my friends and coworkers are always complaining about how cold they are, and I've always joked and told them to "go eat a cheeseburger you skinny *****" But lately I've found myself turning off fans and adjusting the AC up a few degrees because *gasp* I'm cold!! I'm not exactly skinny yet. I'm still at a 41 BMI, for goodness sake. Although, this is a huge change from my 50.4 BMI just 5 months ago. But still! How weird.

I dealt with that, and I'm in AZ also-- it drove my husband batty when I touched the thermostat!
I think part of it has to do with fat loss, we're not nearly as "insulated" as we used to be. My surgeon suggested it might be due to circulation as well, our bodies have to figure out how to move blood around differently and that can affect temperature.

it is most likely due to hormonal changes... or the way our Vagus nerve has been altered..
I am at goal and have been there for a few years- But even from the beginning - I am hot almost all the time... Even when my iron was low - I was feeling hot... but then _ I am anomally...

As Hala said, it's a hormonal change from the surgery itself, along the same lines as diabetes going into remission. Most pele want to say it's the "lack of insulation." But if you are always hot before surgery, and always cold as soon as you wake up, it's obviously not because of weight loss or food. The surgery itself flipped a switch.
