I'm having my first cold since surgery and I wondered what type of medicine we're allowed? It's a sore throat and drainage. I was pretty sure day quip was allowed but it's doing NOTHING!

I use Day Quill and Mucinex without any problem. Tylenol products are also okay. Just stay away from things that contain aspirin (Alka Seltzer Plus comes to mind).

Feel better soon!
