Actually, with my new 'super-nose'... I've been smelling alcohol on her a lot.  Like oozing out of her skin.  And I know she likes her whiskey.  And I also know how many calories there are in booze.  The weight in her face looks puffy... like she's been hitting the bottle lately.  But the weight gain in her body is a different story.

I would never say anything to her or anyone else at the office, and again... I don't 'dislike' her... but it is kinda fun to see 'Miss Perfect' have to deal with real life issues for once.  

(I guess that makes me the jealous one... ummm... saucer of milk for one, please - meow!!)

Oh yikes. If you're smelling alcohol....could be a big problem. Regardless of her age (some of us floating around here aren't exactly 20 year olds) - the drinking to excess is just trouble.

OMG!!! We must be sisters seperated at birth!  I dont get jealous about others people looks or personalities. But it is the "accidents of birth" where someone was just born to rich parents and has all the money and connections to "keep them ahead" that really gets me. Same with looks. I dont get treat people poorly because they are unattractive ...it is an accident of birth...some genetic configurations just dont work well and a person cant help it.  

So when someoen who has been genetically blessed (or has had EVERYTHING handed to them by parents/and or life) has struggle. I get happy too.

It might be kind of fun to ask her if "she is ok" and that you have noticed the smell of "alcohol on her" in the morning and perhaps she may need some counseling?  In the very least, it gets her to shower and brush her teeth before work so she doesnt stink like a bar.  At most, you have helped her get her life on track...But you also got to jab the knife in a bit too (which is kinda fun every now and then to the deserviing...which I am not sure she is...but that is up to you to decide).

Wow.  Because kicking people when they're down is always a fun pastime.

I don't normally see this poster because I was blocked when I called her out on her cluelessness - I see blocking was easier than learning any sort of lesson.

This thread is a whole load of fat girls who kept the chip on their shoulder.  No point improving your outside appearance if the inside stays ugly ...

At any rate, as said above, people that have everything, arent appreciative of it, take it for granted, and have a lack of kindness/understanding/compassion for those that started out less ahead than they ...irk me.

I hope One day you can look at that and see how harsh you become.  Maybe time, experience, and some real life may teach you about tolerance and compassion.

-You really want to know?  Growing up in a small backbiting town, having a father die in a work-related factory accident over a safety problem that had been cited multiple times by OSHA, a mom deciding dad's life was worth 32K rather than justice, members of the small back-biting down make fun of your "poor clothes" despite your mom working 3 jobs to put food on the table and working under the table myself, and my favorite ...members of same back-biting town talking about YOUR MOM IS DATING JUST 2 months after your dad was killed. The reality was, the guy was mentally handicapped and taking semi-independent people out in social outtings was a part of her job.

I am not even going to start about "being under the thumb" of a boss of a certain religion where women "with good character" do not speak unless asked a specific questions...and this guy had control of my ability to complete my Ph.D. to an extent.

My life is pretty much a game of Survivor. HUstle, outwit, and outlast.

So yeah..i DO get jealous and irked.
