angioedema /severe fluid retention and weight gain

I have severe fluid retention as well as weight gain my body seems to keep EVERYTHING that goes in. Does any body else out there have this same problem and did surgery help? any help out there for a newbie? My doctors seem to be stumped and I'm talking many doctors for 7 years. Lately the the answer from all of them is surgery. I have been approved for surgery just trying to finish the pre surgery stuff now.

I had that problem when my liver died but I'm fairly certain that isn't your issue. I am hoping that they're looking at any medications you're on that may induce angioedema or any underlying illnesses related to this?
