Weight gain on 7 days of IV fluid?? I'm so upset. I was in the hospital fot7 days& gained 15lbs

I was just discharged from 7 days in the hospital for a small bowel obstruction. All I had during that time was ice chips until the day before I was discharged I had Maltomeal and a little cup of sorbet. I've hardly eaten sine I got home. Why does it look like I'm carrying triplets? I've never been over 237 and 5' 11". My abdomen is also hard.. Here I thought I had lost weight.

You've been pumped full of fluids is why. You'll notice it starting to settle down in a few days.

Totally normal. You're been injected with fluids.. just like a chicken breast. Drink lots, walk, it'll pass.
