Seeking pre-surgery advice

Hello!  I'm excited to be scheduled for the sleeve surgery in just over 2 weeks and I'm wondering what was the best advice you were given prior to your surgery?

Make sure you sip sip sip and walk walk walk and bring chap stick and biotin mouthwa**** helps with dry mouth. I brought a sippy cup to the hospital it helped to remind me to sip

I brought a sleep/sound machine which was the best idea ever since I was right outside of the nurse's station for 5 days!  Good luck.
