Look at the profile and see the date that they created an account.  That's usually a great indicator.

If the topic is controversial and provocative, it's usually a troll looking to create a madhouse of activity.  

Some posts that you THINK would be created by trolls are actually from real people.  It gets hard to tell the players without an IQ test here sometimes
