Had VSG on Aug 14
I felt surprisingly ok on the day of my surgery. I was discharged the next morning, and the rest of that day was REALLY uncomfortable. Gas pains were bad and it hurt to sit. Lying down was a tiny bit better, but made sipping virtually impossible. I walked awhile and took some pain mess, and woke up yesterday feeling much better. Today was a little better. My abs are still sore, but gas pains are mostly gone, and it is a bit easier to drink. Honestly, trying to get the liquids in is the worst part, but that's a lot better than pain.
