If you have not done so get a Dexa scan before surgery. Bone loss can be an issue for those of us that have WLS and you will need this as a base line to track any loss and how much.  Its simple and takes very little time.

Second the motion. Very important. The calcium test in our labwork tells us absolutely nothing about our bone health.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

Not everyone can get it pre-surgery there is a weight limit. I went and was turned away while I was sitting on the table. I recently had one as now the weight is not an issue. :)
