Hello,

I am 11 days postop and for the last 4 days I have not been able to lose any weight.    Is this normal?

You will NOT lose weight every day after the first week or so. 1 - 2 lb per week after the first few is reasonable.

We didn't put on all of our weight in a day, and we certainly won't lose it in one either.

I am going through the same.    Had surgery 7/31 lost 12lb and have not lost anymore since Friday.     Hopefully I will start losing weight soon.   As of now I feel confused

Take a deep breath and be patient. Look at your loss by week, not by day, and be prepared for things to slow down!

I had my surgery last July, I lost 11lbs the first week and then didn't lose anything for 3 1/2 weeks. It stunk but just keep doing what you are supposed to do.

Stalls are part of the process. I am 6 months post op and I stall at least twice a month. Just keep doing what you are supposed to do and the weight will come off. :)

Just remember this is not magic. They changed your body. You had a ton of fluids pumped into you. Your body is adjusting. I felt the same way. I wanted it gone overnight. It will come off quickly but you just have to follow your plan.

Everyone here wants to help. They want you to do well. So take a deep breath and take care of yourself. Don't put your scale away. Put it out of the way for a few days. Then get on it.

I've only lost three pounds in two years. Because of those three pounds, can I still count this as a stall?
