Great article even though I didn't agree with everything she said, I can understand where she's coming from. Luv the people act like they had wls on the way home from the mall reference. It really brings home that people need to take it seriously.

Thanks for posting this. I wish I had read this pre-op. Trust me I am glad I had the surgery. I am learning everyday.

right on!!! I have shaken my head many a time reading some posts here. I am 11 1/2 years out.

I see a lot of people taking this life saving/altering opportunity way too lightly. Just like people use abortion to "fix" irresponsible birth control practices, they are using revisions to "fix" weight gain.

A big problem with our society in general is lack of responsibility for our own actions or lack of actions

With the exception of the ad (e.g. the 48 pouch reset), this was spot on.

RNY Surgery: 12/31/2013; 

Current weight (2/27/2015) 139lbs, ~14% body fat

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
