Am I losing to much?
Most people here would be thrilled. Your main concern should be getting your fluids and getting as much protein in as you can. The fluids are even more important because it is easy to get dehydrated at this stage. You must have a follow up appointment soon, so if you are still concerned ask. You may have just lost a lot of water weight. I lost 11 pounds in 7 days and then went into a 3 1/2 week stall. If you are not feeling well in some other way, then I would call, but if you are getting fluids and protein in and generally feeling good, I would rejoice!

I agree with NYMOM if you are feeling good. Enjoy the large loss!! I would love it! You didn't say how much you have to lose. Sometimes the more you have to lose will also aid in losing a lot fast in the beginning. Enjoy the large loss. You will find times you think your never going to drop another pound. :)
Weakness is likely not lack of food, but dehydration. Before surgery, many people only drink while they eat, and if they aren't eating, they aren't drinking either.

Your profile says your BMI is 56.8 (not sure if that's accurate)? I say it's completely normal. I lost 25 lbs my first month and I "only" had 100 to lose.

You should be thankful. As long as you are getting in your protein and fluids, you are good. You need to take advantage of the first year to lose as much as you can. My starting BMI was 53 and I lost 29 pounds the first month. By 6 months you should expect to lose around 50% of your excess weight and by then is starts to slow down.
