NSV - out of clothing

It's official. I now have pretty much nothing that fits!!!

I've already gone through the clothing that I had "fatted" out of in recent years. And now I am swimming in even those. I am completely out of belt holes as well. All of my xxl t'shirts are like tents on me too. We went to a wedding the other day and I was able to wear the suit I got married in nearly 8 years ago!!!

I suppose I am going to have to go buy an interim wardrobe. I of course don't want to spend too much because in a couple of months, they will also be too big. So I guess I'll get a pair of jeans, a pair of slacks, and some shirts for now. And hope nothing comes up that requires a suit for a while. :-)

Ah....these are good problems to have. This past friday was my 6 week mark post sleeve. I go see my surgeon tomorrow. I am going to have to warn him that a hand shake is just not going to do it. So he will need to prepare himself for a big man-hug.

My sympathies. It's too bad being a smaller size and wearing old clothes reminds you of being married 8 years ago.

lol. There is a midrash (ancient Jewish commentary) that says your first wife was pre-ordained before you were born. Your second one is the one you deserve.

My wife (2nd) is awesome. My best friend. Aug 26 will be 8 years of holy headlock...er...I mean wedlock.

Congrats!! I am so exited for you! My surgery is this Friday. I am now wearing a 3 x. My aunt just gave me 1/2 a bag of xl clothes. I was going to throw them out because I was thinking it will be forever before I wear them. However after reading this post, I better keep them!! Good luck and give that man a hug! So happy for you!
