So I had a GREAT NSV this weekend and although my family and friends shared it with me, I sometimes feel like you guys understand or appreciate it more. So....

I had a wedding this weekend and two dresses that I normally would have worn are too big. So I dug DEEP into the closet to a dress that I haven't worn in 5 years!! Yes, it was tucked away in one of those "I might fit into boxes." I think I saved it bc it was the year I met my now husband and went to his sisters wedding. I felt gorgeous that night and wanted to feel it again. Anyway, I tried it on and it fit!!!! I cried! I wore it to the wedding and got SO many compliments.  It really helped since I couldn't partake in the candy bar, cake, alcohol,  and 1/2 the dinner. That's ok though bc I was on cloud 9!

This is wonderful!

You looked awesome then and you clearly looked great now based on the compliments!!!

I bet you were just glowing from the confidence of FINALLY getting things moving the right way, the weight loss, wearing that gorgeous (and smaller sized ) dress!

I bet everything just went right with you on that special day!

Congrats!

So happy for you.  Seeing the scale go down is great, but seeing how it affects you in real life is awesome.

SO happy for you. That must have felt great! Those compliments are things to hold on to.... that other food would have made you feel like crap.  It'll be exciting to see what else you can find in those "someday" boxes. Happy hunting!
