today is my last day of clears only. Tomorrow is surgery!!!!  I am nauseas from drinking on an empty stomach but praying it's all worth it. On top of it all I have my menses with major stomach cramps. What can woman take since we can't take ibuprofen?

On a different note; I was walking at the track during my kids football practice and realized how embarrassed I was because I was the "fat" girl walking he trac****pt walking despite the embarressment because I know that each additional week I will be smaller and soon I will fit it. Looking forward to being healthy.

Good luck!   You'll be fine :)   Have you tried a heating pad?

I am only allowed Tylenol for pain, which basically doesn't do anything for cramps. The heating pad is my new best friend a few days a month. If I remember correctly, my doctor said that they could prescribe Tramadol (sp?) if the Tylenol didn't work. At my 3 month check up, I am going to ask about that.

Great job on the walking! Keep focusing on the new changes you are making for a healthier you and don't worry about what other people are thinking.

Best wishes tomorrow!

Good Luck, Jenn! I'll be following your progress.  Just remember to breathe out the bad and breathe in the good.  I suspect you won't be feeling up for much more than that the first day or two anyway.

I don't know if you are allowed to drink anything this time of night with surgery looming.  If you can, dink some hot tea.  This always helped me when I was having periods.

Good luck!  My surgeon allows Midol for cramps but I usually stick with Tylenol.  When it's really bad, I will take tramadol.
