Bloating after surgery????
My stomach was so bloated that the shirt I brought to wear home looked like a sausage casing on my body. 
It took a few days to deflate. Good luck on the 26th :)

Everyone's experience will be different. I was lucky in that I didn't gain weight at surgery nor have the long bloating. I did get up and walk almost immediately after I woke up from surgery and that helps move everything along splendidly. It is also good to note that in the future, if you eat too much or eat something that disagrees with you, walking is the best help for it.
