It's no problem. That pain changed me forever! LOL
hello i am just starting the process of going for gastric surgery i have to go for all the test then get the okay from Health first.after reading of the pain you had with the gas it's making me really think twice.i want the surgery but don't want my adult sons see me in pain. i had hernia surgery and i walk 4 hours afterwards so maybe i could handle this surgery.i was wondering is the pain really uncomfortable to the point you feel like screaming?good luck and a speedy recovery.

It's more like you're going to "explode" pain than anything.
I had no pain whatsoever, so no telling how you will fare. It certainly shouldn't make you reconsider surgery. Not sure if you are male or female but I would guess that most people who describe graphic pain after surgery have never had children!

You can have a week of pain from surgery, or 50 years of pain from your body falling to pieces. It was an easy choice for me.

My gas pains from both of my prior laproscopic surgeries (Lap-Band surgery and gallbladder removal) I had the worst gas pain... but mine wasn't digestive gas pain, it was pain in my shoulders. I was told this was the air they used to inflate my abdomen so they could do the surgery. Everyone is a little different, so you may not experience this... but Gas-X is your friend! The pain will be short, but the surgery will change your life for the better!
