4 weeks post op - am I expecting too much?
One thing to keep in mind. Keep moving no matter what. (Exercising that is). It makes all the difference.
I lost my 1st 100lbs. in 8 months, but I may have been able to lose more, if I had kept up with a good exercise regiment. I am too lazy when it came to exercise but, to get the optimum affect you must incorporate as often as possible, when you are able too.
Now 8 yrs. later I have set a new goal to lose some re-gain & finally make it to a goal! Period. Good luck to you!
Peace jbug. What I would do to turn back my hands of time, for a honeymoon phase, enjoy the wave!
I lost 21 my first month, and I did ok. I don't know how much you have to lose, but I wouldn't expect 23 again. After a few months you'll be happy to see 15, then 10.

Glad I'm not the only one! Im about to be at week 4 and I've lost 27lbs. But these last few pounds I've lost then gained but then again I've also had big problems w/ getting enough proteins in/keeping food down! Sometimes the sight of food just makes me sick! I keep telling myself that its the first month and I'm not back to normal yet but its hard to think that when in so many ways I feel normal!!! Good luck to you!!!
