Tried and True Supplements for Diabetes Management

Dh has recently been dx'd with Type II diabetes and I have both of us on a regimen of: Fish (Omega 3 krill) oil; B12, D3; A Probiotic; and Tumeric. Am mostly concerned with keeping inflammation at bay! Many thanks.

Most people find it easier to control if they lose 20 lbs (or 10 per cent of their weight) and take up exercise.  Noone has to take up marathon running or triathlons, just an hour walking the dog etc will help enormously.

The WLS lifestyle is EXCELLENT for keeping type I I under control!

I don't have the reference handy, though someone else asked about it recently elsewhere on here-- there's no clinical evidence that turmeric effectively reduces inflammation in (human) patients. You're likely taking an expensive placebo.
