Leaks
Hi! I'm new to this site. I was wondering if anyone has had an experience like mine? I had Gastric Sleeve June 9th, and at 2 weeks post op I found out I have a leak. I had extreme nausea, dry heaving, and some pain, I also starting running fever. I was admitted to the hospital and was there for 2 weeks. During my hospital stay I had a stent put in, then readjusted Bc it migrated, and then removed after a week. I also had a Cat scan which showed no access, just air. I was released with home health and now have a PICC line in and get TPN (nutrition) and IV antibiotic. My question is has anyone had an experience like mine, and if so how long did it take for the leak to heal? I'm praying I will not be on TPN for months! Thanks in advance!

Post this on the VSG board. More VSGrs will see it and may have some insight for you.
