I AM sorry that someone responded to you in that manner! We are here to support and help each other. Please stop crying. Many of us do understand and many of us, I assume, know what it's like to be fragile. You can pm me if you'd like! Mary

You did find a supportive place. You can't just come here, though, and wig out when someone corrects you. Going to the ER is for emergencies only. Vomiting isn't an emergency.

Kim is one of the most supportive, knowledgeable, and right-on people here. She was NOT venomous.

You are new here. Stick around, and you will have a chance to get to know people. It sounds as if you are having a hard time right now and took this way harder than you should have.

Honey Ima need you to calm down and not let this site get to you like that! Just like you I'm learning too I'm only 4 months out and the vomiting thing (which was just an isolated incident) was very new to me and never happend and I freaked out and called my surgeon! But I agree with you there are a lot and I mean a LOT of people on here who are just rude especially to folks who don't know stuff I've experienced being attacked  for giving out info and saying "everything in moderation" even was told I wasn't going to be successful and fail! I was told that pre/op! But see the difference between me and you is I almost got banned from this site because my mouth is vicious and I went HAM ok lol. So I tend to just not post often to prevent that because I realize  it's just some miserable azz formally fat folks on here who use the "vet" or I know more than you status as a reason to be rude. Some folks need to understand that rather your 11yrs or 11 weeks out, the reason we're here is because we struggle with weight and if you were such an expert on weight loss you wouldn't have needed surgery to get to where your at PERIOD POINT BLANK! Now I completely understand the tough love and telling it like it is approach, but there's a major difference between that, and just being out right rude and ****ty its just counterproductive and defeats the purpose of being helpful.

Anyhow! I really appreciate your concern and I understand your having a tuff time right now but don't let it ruin your experience here, there are actually a lot of really helpful and supportive people here who will tell you what u need to know and need to hear without being rude. But I will say the lady who made the comment to you wasn't being mean, maybe just a little slick with how she replied, but if your going to be on a online forum you've got to get thicker skin because this is the internet so where there is a online forum your going to run into trolls and nasty negative people that's just how it goes online! Good Luck!!

Thank you for recognising that I was in no way being mean in my initial reply.  Glad to see you stuck around, despite your earlier run ins on the board (none of which were with me, for the benefit of those reading this)

I hope you are better after your vomiting episode.

Bless your heart honey. I had My RNY 7 years ago. If I go to ER every time My pouch make me throw up...I would be spending a lot of my money....and time in ER.

Pouches and sleeves can be very finicky... One day it is fine, another day hugging the porcelain bowl ...

Sometimes there is a reason (eating too much, not chewing enough, wrong temperature of food...) and sometimes the pouch just get pissy...

I will not even mention mild food poisoning...

Multi on an empty stomach always makes me sick - be sure to have something in your gut before taking them.

if you mean you Re taking them with liquid, that is essentially an empty stomach. . Liquids go right thru the pouch or sleeve, leaving the vits behind in an empty stomach.

Hey there...I wanted to check out other forums to assist you in anyway possible, and there are others that have experienced the same EXACT situation. Go through the “forums” then click on RNY. I don’t know what you ate for breakfast nor lunch but the information on that thread was VERY helpful. Although the NUT and nurse gave the patient information it didn’t agree with her tummy and induced vomiting. Check it out.

I hope this helps. Feel better soon and keep us posted

Well. Agree to disagree... I had reflux before RNY that was easily controlled with diet. (very few foods squarely).

Now ..post op RNY I had to be on PPI for 4-5 years. In most cases -RNY "cures" GERD.. In my case - I had it worse after.  Go figure...
