Keep throwing up everything all the sudden!

I've talked with my surgeon he only advised me to go to the ER if it persists and I'm fine now! Just seemed to be a at the moment type of thing but thank you!

For this site they have a search... I just found it, then type in reflux.... it shows lots of information that includes WLS types. Gets the data for when and what has people writing about their reflux, GERD, heart burn issues and WLS.

If I went to the ER every time I barfed, I'd be bankrupt.  I very easily ...   The ER is for life threatening emergencies, hence the name!

Sorry for you feeling the tough love. People care here and the maternal sides are showing. Bottom line, people want you to be successful and not get hurt by misunderstanding what WLS is and can do for you. If you have problems and or issues they will respond, and maybe not the way you think they should but remember we don't know their history and length and depth of their experiences on what ever question got asked.... 75 cents worth.

I was actually going to respond to your post because it was extremely alarmist in nature - "it could be serious, go to the ER, etc." - but didn't. But I will respond now - there was nothing condescending about that post. Your little finger-wagging smiley is, however.

Errr, I'm not your or anyone else's dude.  If you are unable to understand the idiocy of your original post, and the advice therein, so be it!  

We'll just let people compare our experience and decide who's advice they wish to follow.   I've got 11 years post RNY - you?  Oh yeah, you haven't even had surgery yet and second day on the board.

Why in the world are you so aggressive??? Again I was trying to HELP her and I even apologized to her for giving miss information. I'm in a really fragile place and thought this was a forum for like-minded people to come together yet I'm being attacked for my very first comment! 

Maybe I've signed into the wrong place! I'm originally from California so "dude" was not to be offensive and I sick of trying to defend myself so trying to be helpful!! 

If you thought my advice was incorrect there were tons of ways to advise me thAn implying that I didn't understand the letters ER! It was hurtful to log-in on my second day and read your venomous post. 

I'm sick of being miserable and misunderstood, my family doesn't support my choice to have the surgery and especially not my religious friends because they feel that it's "the way God made me"!! I was simply trying to reCh out to folks and HELP a young lady that sounded like she needed immediate help!! Now I'm sitting here crying because YOU are being mean to me, we are strangers to one another and I can't believe that I let you get me down! 

Last night I thought I found a great place to share, now I can't imagine why strangers would be so cruel. I'm scared and confused and ... Just forget it! 

And don't bother to correct or poke fun at the misspelled words I'm just falling apart over here and was typing too fast.
