I was wondering if anyone can please tell me the necessary pre-op steps that Healthfirst Medicaid requires.

I won't have an intake for a couple more weeks, and wanted to get the ball rolling.

i know that preauth is not necessary

That PCP clearance is required.

Every insurance plan is different and nobody here can give you specifics. Call the customer service line (should be on the back of your card) and ask them to outline what you'll need to do in advance.
