At 70, I would be more likely to opt for the Sleeve. I have a DS, and that means I have a Sleeved stomach. I've found it VERY easy to live with---good restriction, good satisfaction, no food intolerances, no dumping.
Medicare will not pay for the sleeve. At least not the original Medicare. I understand that Medicare offered thru AARP (United Health Care) does cover the sleeve. The sleeve will not resolve type 2 diabetes though and I need to get off that horse.
