Week one after surgery is finished!
It has been one week since I had sleeve surgery and I'm down 23 pounds (counting 2 week pre-diet)! I'm starting to feel human again and am excited to start transitioning to the "full liquids" phase of my recovery--pudding, cream soups, yogurt... What were some of your favorite foods during this stage?
Also, to keep myself accountable, I started blogging today about the experience. I invite you to check it out at http://justsleeveit.blogspot.com/ and let me know what you think. Thanks!
I'm surprised you can have creamy soup. During my first two months I was not permitted to have anything that could not be seen through. First two months I existed on Jello (minus the red one), greek yogurt, and broth. I had the Lap-Band surgery and when I had my surgery in 2012 I lost thirty pounds in thirty days.

Hello, I had the VS on 6/16/15 and I have lost 14lbs. I have been on clear liquids for a week. Now I'm eating creamy soups, I also had about 3oz. of oatmeal for breakfast. I don't suppose to start the oatmeal for another 4 days but I felt hungry and needed to fill full. How do you stop the hungry feelings.
Wish I could help with some suggestions but I just began the pre-op process and my insurance requires me to wait 6 months...so it'll be a few more months before I'd have any experience. But I've been trying to absorb as much information from here as humanly possible so I checked out your blog and wanted to say your adipose is adorable! Always fun to find another Doctor Who fan :)
