I'm so excited! Finally it's almost time. I'm on my last day of my 10 day liquid diet -- I've lost 12.2 pounds so far. At noon I will start on the bowel prep for surgery. I'm sure that will be loads of fun, lol. I'm looking forward to getting started on a new healthy lifestyle. I know it will not be easy, I've been reading and lurking on this and other bariatric sites and have seen the stories, but I am going into things with my eyes open and a positive outlook. Scoot over, make room for me on the loser's bench!

But be ready for mental struggle more than physical. That's the one aspect of my prep I wish I had taken more seriously so I'm just telling everyone that your brain will fight you so much more than your body. But it sounds like you're prepped with a positive attitude so you're probably going to have a much easier time of it than me! Good luck!
