Gastric Bypass Induced Menopause!

HW - 303 lbs CW(pre op) - 274.5 at 5 months out 202.5 lbs Current weight on Aug.18/14 is 195 lbs May 2015 at goal - 160 pounds
Good afternoon, I had my gastric bypass in 2008 and I was 38 years old. I had a similar reaction 3 to 4 months after my RNY, the differenace was... my body thought I was pregnant, went thru the morning sickness, loss of appetiite, cravings and no period! My surgeon said, female bodies are sensitive to what goes on and a major surgery triggered my body to react this way, it had no idea what just happened to it. hope it makes sense.
