weight loss after surgery
i had my surgery on may 26th 2015. i have lost about 12-15lbs so far but now when i weight myself its like nothing is happening. am i doing things right? am i eating the right foods? i have the list from the dr. but i advanced alittle bit faster than i think i should have on the food list. im on week 3 already. im tolerating food pretty well. im just worried about my weight. ive heard so many success stories about people who have this surgery and lose massive amounts right after. am i ok.......

What, exactly, are you eating? How much liquid are you drinking? Why have you advanced your diet faster than your surgeon's guidelines said to?

I'll ask again - what, exactly, are you eating? How much liquid are you drinking every day? We all get slightly different guidelines, so it's not super useful to say that you're following yours when none of us know what those are.
Tell us a day or two of what you're eating, exactly, including measurements, and we can try to troubleshoot for you. Otherwise, we can't really help at all.

I agree with this. If you post what and how much you are eating, we can be of a lot more assistance.
Otherwise, we are just guessing that you are doing okay.

"What you eat in private, you wear in public." --- Kat
I'm going to give you a little advice here. My doctor said I could eat oatmeal too...but that's really BAD advice! #1 - it has no protein in it unless you are supplementing with unflavored protein powder. #2 - the goal is eat as few carbs as possible, oatmeal has a LOT.
You would be much better off eating an egg scrambled with a bit of soft cheese instead of oatmeal. The SF jello is adding nothing to your diet. You'd be better off eating ricotta cheese mixed with some cinnamon and splenda if you need something sweet to eat. And the broccoli and cheese soup? Once again, not enough protein. And the amounts you're eating - I'm surprised you can get that much down. There's no way I could have eaten an entire packet of oatmeal at one time...or 3/4 of a can of soup. Make sure you are limiting yourself to the approved amounts you were told to eat too!
You are probably suffering greatly from what I suffered from in the beginning. A not-so-great program that allowed me to eat a whole bunch of stuff that wasn't going to get me maximum weight loss or anywhere close to my goal weight. I came on here, read everything that the successful people did, and I copied it. Boom - goal weight in 7 months.
Rule to remember for life: just because you CAN eat something, doesn't mean you SHOULD eat something.
