If your stomach is OK with the acid, get some tomato soup and add pizza seasonings (garlic, oregano, onion powder) to it. The spices are a good way to trick your brain!

I am only 5 weeks out and have had some cravings also. I have started walking and also keep T.V. off as much as possible. Too many commercials with food. Everyone has given some great suggestions and have they helped me. I just try to stay out of my own head as much as possible. It can be a dangerous place for me. LOL
Someone suggested to me to up my protein and that has helped. I was getting enough. I wish you the best!

You can eat 2 slices of pizza at 6 weeks out?
I couldn't do ONE at 17 months out. Wow.

He had RNY.
His stitches/staples hadn't healed (i.e. he was a week or 2 post op). He hadnt even worked into pureed food yet, let alone, pepperoni, crust, cheese, and whatever else was on the pizza.
I am not sure how big is ONE bite was.
Nor am I sure how well he CHEWED his food.
But, he had "one bite" of pizza and ended up in the ER with severe pain and a scared ER doc.
And that is how one goes to the hospital for one bite of pizza.

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
Say it with me: RICOTTA BAKE! Eggface's recipes and tips are fantastic, but the ricotta bake is a winner for sure. Now that I'm on solids I tried a cauliflower crust pizza and enjoyed it! Who would have ever thought?
But really, I think any warm savory recipe with the Italian flavorings will satisfy. Good luck!
