Has anyone attended one in the past? Can Anyone give some information on what goes on at the conference? The event link didn't really give a lot of specifics. Maybe I didn't see the correct link.

Hello!  I'm so glad you asked about what goes on! I'm very happy to say that a lot goes on!  Here are a few links to get you directly to the details, and PM me so I can provide much more. We sure hope you're coming!

On Friday the 16th of October, we get valuable information and involvement from those who have walked the journey and then we go to dinner and come back for a very social Meet and Greet with a Halloween theme!

On Saturday the 17th of October, we start again with a bit of fitness, then have our main session speakers and then lunch (included). After lunch, we break into sessions, have a wrap up question and answer panel with professionals, break for dinner, then come back for a social time and fashion show!  Visit the link below and then you can navigate from there for hotel information, etc.!

Kim, perfect! Thank you. If someone were to attend, they can choose which events on the itinerary they would like to participate in, correct? Are spouses/family/friends welcome even if they have not had surgery themselves?

We do encourage friends and family to attend so they can see what a great community this is, and find ways to support you!  We have to let you know that some of the sessions may not be kid-friendly, though. And yes, you can choose what sessions you wish to attend. You don't have to sign up ahead of time.

See you there!
