Hello!

I am just starting on my journey. I am looking at doing the verticle sleeve. I have 3 consults with 3 doctors this month. I am starting with True Results Houston tomorrow. Not sure what to expect on my first visit. Any advice?

I have BCBS and it sounds like I have good coverage. But will find out more tomorrow. I am right at 40 BMI.

Don't know anything about True Results, but what other doctors are you meeting with?

Google True Results scams and then run for your life, literally. I know many people who tried them and every last one of them said they dump you as soon as your surgery is over. Nearly every on of them had some sort of complication and then got little to no results when they would try to get help. Many ended up in the emergency room having to be put back together by other surgeons because TR didn't do the surgery correctly. They walk very carefully just barely inside of the law. So my advice would be skip that one all together and go to a real surgeon there are many very well qualified surgeons in that area don't be tempted by their slick sales talks!

I had BCBS and they were wonderful. I went to my first WLS meeting at the end of June 2014 and I was scheduled for Surgery August 26, 2014. So have a wonderful insurance! As far as "True Results" I do not know about them but it appears from "hisLady" that they are not on the up and up. I would Google them as mentioned and see what they are about. I myself went to a WLS specialist who was very well known and recommended by others. He spoke with me personally a few ties before surgery, helped do all the paperwork and made me feel secure by giving me personal attention. Wish you well but as HisLady mentioned - do your research!!!
