The best Fitbit

I'm thinking about getting a Fitbit and I could use some advice. I did do a search on OH but didn't really find comparisons of the different models. If you use a Fitbit, which do you think is the best model? The main reason I want one is to count my steps but I could see using other features in the future. What do you do with yours?

Right now I have the Zip because it is inexpensive and I wanted to see if I actually liked using it. I do. I am addicted to getting my 10000+ steps in. I want to eventually get the charge HR. It does heart rate and sleep plus it has a regular band on it like a watch.

Does the Zip go on your waist band or do you where it on your wrist?

It has a clip. I usually wear it on my belt-loop. I found a band on ebay that it fits into so I can wear it on my wrist like a watch, but I get more steps when it is on my waist. I am very competitive so I like more steps : )

That's one of the reasons I don't like the wrist bands. Reviews I read said they weren't as accurate for counting steps. They could be higher or lower, depending on what activity you were doing.

I have the HR Charge now. Had a flex for years. The charge is cool, but I really don't like that it isn'****erproof like the flex is.  But having the heart rate tracker is pretty cool. I'm kind of torn.

The Flex is no****erproof. None of the fitbits are. They are only water-resistant. The Garmin Vivosmart is waterproof.

I have the Charge HR because I wanted the heart rate monitor feature?

i love the silent alarm feature.  I use it to wake me Monday through Friday .. And can also set it to remind me to take vitamins, etc.

The only downside is that it is not compatible with the machines at my gum (like my Polar heart rate monitor is) so I can't see my hr as I work out.

Charge Hr for me. I wanted to be able to monitor my height rate when exercising and track sleep patterns.

it not being waterproof is my most major nitpick with it. The alarm is pretty handy though.

my girlfriends have the next model down and like them very much too.

I have the regular Charge. I love my Fitbit, but if I had to do it again I would buy the Charge HR. Since I've gotten used to wearing it I can't imagine doing without.
