NSV, I have to add calories and carbs!

So I saw my nut today. She said I am doing well with my food. but im not getting enough carbs or calories especially on the days I work out! And I can have dark chocolate occasionally!

Im only getting about 700-800 a day. She wants me to get about 1000. I have been getting around 100g protein,  but only around 40g carbs. Im 5 months out from vsg.

You might find that your NUT's advice stalls your weight loss or puts you into maintenance.  The numbers she wants seem a bit on the high side - so keep your eyes peeled.

It's definitely going to, but I am losing muscle mass to quickly and haven't stalled in months.  Im losing almost 3lbs a week... so.

I agree with Gwen. The numbers your nut gave you seem way to high. My MD says I should lose 10lbs a month and 3lbs a week is setting you up for 10 a month, 3 lbs a week is not "to much weight loss" just be extra careful and watch the scale.

I'm am actually still llosing 10 lbs a month!  But I workout 4-5 times a week. Im down 96 lbs since surgery January 23!

No way would I add calories or carbs - you still have a lot to lose ...   I lost 120lbs in six months to a 21.6 BMI - no such thing as losing too fast!!!!

You still have a lot to lose. Get the weight off as quick as you can. There is no way I would have added calories or carbs where you are. I never, ever, added calories because of working out.

Everyone, everyone loses muscle mass while losing weight. Lifting heavy will minimize the muscle loss, but the only way to stop it is to eat so much that you will completely stop your weight loss.

Ignore your nutritionist. If you add carbs, calories, and start going down the chocolate path, I absolutely guarantee you will regret it.
