I just got a spam email on this diet.  It has to be older than dirt, I can't believe it's still around. Confess, how many of you tried this diet?  I did "several" times, (pre WLS) lost only half of what they said and put it all back on

Never did it.  My favorite diet, which disappeared off the face of the planet was Lean Line back in the 1970's, I believe.

Oh my gosh, I was just thinking about this diet the other day for some reason. I remember my parents doing this one many years ago. They lost weight, but not as much as the claims.

I noticed you have two of the same weight loss tickers. You can delete one by clicking your user name (head icon to the right), settings, message board.  Back space the duplicate ticker in the second window and then save  Let me know if you need help!

Oh jeez.  Lets see if I can remember all the fad diets I did.

Juice fasts

Ceyenne pepper fasts

The vegetable soup diet

The cabbage soup diet

The potato and milk diet

Tomato diet

Grapefruit diet

The timetable diet

Cheese diet (followed by the laxative diet cause when you eat nothing but cheese you don't poop for a week.)

I'm sure there are more I can't remember.  I think my favorite was the all meat diet.  Nothing but meat and water.  No veggies, no eggs, no cheese.  No counting fats.  Just eat meat.  All meats.  Fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork.  It was glorious.  And I lost about 20 pounds, and my complexion went to hell and my bowels got blocked again.

I remember when the insurance company wanted proof of dieting in the past and my list was as long as I am tall......  The diet books filled a book case full.

My favorite book. "How to lose a pound a day"  It actually taught me a lot about how the body works and burns and needs fuel and stuff.  It was fascinating.  But I also bought it when I was 15, and my "go getter attitude" put me in the hospital with the thought of well, if i can lose 1 pound by doing this i will be more extreme and try for 2 pounds a day!
