Before we can give you any advice about a revision, we need more info. Which form of surgery did you have, and when? What does your daily menu look like? What vitamins and minerals, in what dosages, are you taking? When did you last have complete labs run, and what where your results?

Depending on the answers to these questions, there may be some less drastic steps we can recommend you try before having more surgery.

Just like with the original wls - this should be considered a last resort after extinguishing all other options.  Without any additional information from you, I'll share what others have done to avoid another surgery that is more risky to cause complications than the first.

  • Get serious about eating what your body needs instead of what you feel like eating (or not)
  • Learn how to read your own labs and be proactive instead of waiting for a doc to tell you there's a problem.  My doc's staff, for instance, didn't compare the last round of labs so they were unaware of any trending.
  • Try different supplementation plans.  There is no magical formula that works for everyone.  Try patches for transdermal application instead of digestive - try a combination.
  • Get a script for Creon or another digestive enzyme to increase your level of absorption.
