Carbs
Deoends on the surgery, your doctor's plan, how carbs affect you. Personally, I have never counted a carb and don't know how to!
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

In general you want to start weaning off and completely cutting out high-glycemic carbs. That would be anything with sugar in it, rice, pasta and bread. You also want to get yourself off soda, even if it's diet soda, and alcohol.
If you cut these things then your carbs are just going to naturally gratitate to the low end.
My plan doesn't have a carb rule - I avoid processed and refined carbs, and that seems to do the trick.
