Ooh I remember coloring as a child. I used to be able to draw, now I'm just a stick figure artist! LOL  Maybe I'll try coloring, looks like fun!

What a fantastic idea.   I just ordered some coloring pencils and book.  Cannot wait for it to arrive.

I just ordered a book and some gel pens!  Thank you for reminding me of this stress reliever.  I am also quitting smoking to prepare for surgery, and I think these will help A LOT!

I don't think it's off topic at all!  It is really important to find ways to cope without our old go to habits.  :)  I will post my first picture once I get it colored.

I don't think this is off-topic at all, Kathy. The actual surgery is but only one small part of this "journey", what comes after (and for years to come) is even more important.
