Who do you think you are?  George Bush, throwing up on the Japanese Prime Minister?

I also can relate to your pouchie poo! 7 months out and still struggle with dense proteins. (Doctor seems to think it will just take time). Vets have advised that we slow down and chew, chew, chew. Slowing down and easing back into the dense proteins has helped me. Also, cooking in the crock pot to keep meats moist helps too. Good luck!

I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have dense proteins. I definitely have problems with dry foods. My pork chop for supper was too dry and I was so uncomfortable afterwards.

My pouch doesn't like anything in the morning other than liquids. Yesterday morning, I thought I would give cottage cheese a try, and I regretted it. Nothing but sugar free lattes, tea, kefier, and protein shakes in the morning for me.

Maybe I should start my morning off with a cup of tea and then try something more substantial. This whole process is a learning curve.

That's actually not a bad idea. A warm drink usually primes my gut to accept food. Or at least Greek yogurt. ;)

I was grocery shopping at Walmart last night and I almost puked water that I had drank real fast. I was getting foamies and thinking if I threw up in my purse, would anyone notice?? Thank God, the feeling past. I have also found that I can't eat much in the morning while getting ready for work... hot tea settles my stomach the most. Then I try to eat something around 10 or so. Sometimes call my pouch, Petunia... Petunia Pouch.

I'm not quite two months out...I had RNY on March 27th. I call my pouch "SPIKE" because he's a real assertive kinda guy. "He who must be obeyed." But we're slowly coming to terms. After all, I chased after him for MONTHS! LOL!
