Whoo baby, lots of NSV's!

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and had a checkup with the OB this morning. Whole slew of NSV's to be had!

We don't know the baby's sex yet, so I'll be scheduling that ultrasound soon. The doc said it's usually done between 18 and 20 weeks, but she wants mine done at 18, because "it's easier to do it early for small ladies like you." Small! Whoo!

I was also worried about my blood pressure, since it's been running low (95/60ish) and I've been a bit dizzy lately. I asked the doctor about that, and the good news is that I'm right in the "normal" range for a pregnant lady. This is from someone whose blood pressure was high, even while on BP meds, pre-op! Booyah!

I also got a high-five from the med student who was working with my OB today. I mentioned losing 140lb after surgery and her jaw pretty much hit the floor! The OB told her that not everybody does such a great job after surgery, and getting knocked up in 3 weeks after my IUD was yanked was a darned good reward for it.

And of course, a healthy baby-- so active that the OB had to chase it around with the doppler because it kept swimming out of the way-- is pretty much the best NSV of all :)

Those are some pretty awesome NSVs.  :D  I'm glad to hear you are progressing well and safely, but I have to say that the computer geek part of me like the "percent complete" baby ticker better!  :D  I hope things continue to go well!

Wonderful! Being pregnant is such a joy! And so much easier at a lower weight.

🐓  couldn't find a stork so you'll have to put up with a chicken!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
