I was sleeved in Mexico also, and my program required three nights after surgery. So surgery was on a Monday, and I went home Thursday. It's one of the reasons I picked my particular surgeon, I wanted to be in the hospital (not a recovery hotel like a lot of offshore surgical programs do) in the event of a post-surgery complication. I was off work the entire following week, then went back to work (office job) after that.
